In this 9-part series I’ll show you how to reinvent yourself as the protagonist (the hero) of your own real-life story. I’ll do it 100 words at a time. Take control of your narrative again.

Your Identity Is More Than Your Blend of Temperaments Combined

I used to help solo-entrepreneurs develop brand identities using the Hero’s Journey. I then thought, “Why not use this for my personal identity? Here’s how:

  1. Define my values — What will I stand for?
  2. Select my archetype — How will I stand for them?
  3. Craft a moral statement — Why will I stand for them?
  4. Provide a gift — What will I offer others?

Taking a personality assessment partially tells you how you will live your values, but not what they are and why you’ll stand for them. And your temperament is not your archetype. It’s only part of the story. Let’s see why.

This is a great resource to understand the Hero’s Journey Applied
